OUR STORY

When George Barrick passed away, his body was donated to science per his wishes. After the University was done with his remains, he was cremated. His wife and daughters did not realize this was the next step, and had not planned for it.

After retrieving his remains from the Univerity, they decided to inter his remains with a tree. An apple tree seemed most befitting because George loved apples very much.

However, they didn't know where to plant the tree as none of the properties where they each lived seemed appropriate. There seemed to be no spaces nearby that offered a space for memorial trees.

Further exploration revealed that there were others who in a similar situation. So, an idea was born. A place where trees could be planted with cremated remains in a way that celebrates and gives life. TranquiliTrees LLC.
